September and love songs

While they bring lyrics to their music to make songs in their new album, Incesaz keep their tradition of instrumental music.

In their new album, “Songs of September”, Incesaz come together with the lovely voice of Turkish music era, Melihat Gulses. The main themes of the music being “ Istanbul ”, “September” and “love”, all of the songs are based on different stories. The album contains five instrumentals and eight songs which make the difference from the previous one, which was based on instrumental music only.

We strongly recommend this album for who has the enthusiasm for Turkish music.

Incesaz is authentically the musical word to define the kind of music that used to be performed in Ottoman Palace and the orchestra performing this music. A typical “incesaz” orchestra used to consist of a classical kemenche, a tanbour, a rebab, a kanoun, and a santour. The word “ince” (fine) is to describe the kind of music.
