Melodies from Incesaz

Incesaz is dream of 3 good fellows. Their first album “Eski Nisan” (Aged April, aged as in wine and old violins), was released under the label of Kalan Music, points traces from the tradition.

Murat Aydemir and Derya Türkan whom we know from their previous album “Ahenk” released in USA last year by Golden Horn Productions and Cengiz Onural who we know from the group Yeni Türkü and from his film scores come together to create a new group and a new music: Incesaz. Their new album Aged April brings together the tradition and today's sound.

The remarkable performances of Murat Aydemir at tanbour and Derya Türkan on kemenche are accompanied by Taner Sayacıoğlu on kanoun, Muammer Ketencoğlu on accordion, Aziz Şenol Filiz on ney, Uğur Işık on violoncello, Mahinur Özüstün, Murat Buket and Uğur Yılgın on percussion, and İsmail Soyberk on bass.
