“Fine tuning” to Turkish musicCengiz Onural, who was a member of group Yeni Türkü, turns back to the music with his new group Incesaz and its first album, “Eski Nisan” (Aged April). Incesaz redefines authentic and unison Turkish Music with their fresh approach to modal harmony, rhythms, melodies and orchestration. The album Aged April is tender as it is rich in sound. The album's strong melodic structure dominates over all. Incesaz is authentically the musical word to define the kind of music that used to be performed in Sultan's Palace and amongst the aristocracies, combining classical kemenche, tanbour, rebab, kanoun, santour, etc. This is the counterpart of Kabasaz, which was performed with clarinet, violin, oud, djumbush etc. in more popular circumstances like cafes.
